Palm Springs Ladies Brunch: Gigi’s Palm Springs at The V Hotel

You know you’ve found the right spot for a ladies brunch in Palm Springs when the party starts the second you walk through the door. That’s exactly the vibe at Gigi’s Palm Springs, a Tulum-meets-Beverly Hills-inspired restaurant tucked beside The V Hotel as Palm Canyon curves into one of the city’s most stylish corners.
Gigi’s isn’t your quiet, sip-your-coffee-and-whisper kind of brunch.
This is Palm Springs brunch with energy sophisticated, colorful and ready for a celebration. Brunch runs Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m., making it an easy choice for a girls’ weekend, birthday brunch, bachelorette celebration or simply an excuse to put on a cute outfit and order a cocktail before noon.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by host Paul Pressure, a familiar Palm Springs personality who immediately made us feel at home. His warm welcome set the tone: We weren’t just going to brunch—we were joining the party.
Once seated in our booth, our waiter recommended the Flamingo Spritz, and honestly, how could we say no? Gigi’s playful take on the classic Aperol Spritz combines Aperol, peach vodka, blood orange syrup, soda water and Champagne. Served in a flamingo-shaped cocktail glass surrounded by sparkling neon lights, it might be one of the most Palm Springs cocktails imaginable.

We kicked things off with the Bang Bang Shrimp, crispy rock shrimp tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce. Crunchy, creamy and just the right amount of kick, it was the perfect starter to share.
Then came the main event.
The Smoked Salmon Benedict arrived with two poached eggs, hollandaise and English muffins alongside delicious home fries. It’s the kind of classic brunch dish that doesn’t need to reinvent itself—it just needs to be done well.
The Chilaquiles brought a little more Southwestern flair, with tortilla chips, salsa verde, crema, sliced avocado, two eggs cooked over easy and queso fresco. It was colorful, comforting and exactly what you want when you’re settling into a leisurely Palm Springs weekend.
And because brunch without something sweet is basically just breakfast, we finished with the Banana Pancakes, spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and other warming spices that were a bit overwhelming, topped with cajeta, a sweet Mexican caramel sauce. We wanted more cajeta! and we thought the pancakes were a bit too dry even with a strong pour of syrup.
Throughout our meal, celebrations were happening all around us, adding to Gigi’s high-energy atmosphere. There was a definite sense that everyone had somewhere to be—but nobody was in a hurry to leave.
For a Palm Springs ladies brunch, Gigi’s hits the sweet spot between glamorous and fun. It feels polished without being stuffy, festive without becoming chaotic, and unmistakably Palm Springs.
We loved our brunch at Gigi’s and are already looking forward to seeing what’s next, especially with a new and upcoming menu expected for the start of Palm Springs’ fall and winter season.
SQUAD verdict: Grab your girls, order the Flamingo Spritz, add the Bang Bang Shrimp and skip the pancakes till the menu gets a redo. Because in Palm Springs, brunch isn’t just a meal—it’s p
art of the weekend itinerary.
