Noche Latina Drag Is Back at Toucans Palm Springs—and Baby, It’s Giving Selena!

And if names like Selena, Jenni Rivera, and Celia Cruz make your heart go bidi bidi bom bom, you are absolutely in the right place.

Every Sunday night, Noche Latina Drag brings a different Latina diva to center stage, hosted by the fabulous Fabeyonce, “Your Latin Queen of the Desert.” On our particular Domingo, the theme was none other than Selena, La Reina de Tejano Music—and honey, Fabeyonce understood the assignment.

She hit the stage in full Selena-inspired glamour and launched into a dramatic ballad that immediately let us know this was not going to be your quiet little Sunday night.

There were Selena queens everywhere, including one who drove all the way from Long Beach to fill in for a Selena performer who couldn’t make it. And honestly? She may have been the blessing in disguise because she absolutely brought it.

The soundtrack was everything you wanted: “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” “La Carcacha,” “Techno Cumbia,” and, of course, “Como La Flor.” And let me tell you, when Como La Flor came on, something happened. If you know, you KNOW. Suddenly everybody was feeling their feelings. Pass the tissues—and maybe another tequila.

Enter Gloria Trevi.

Complete with wild hair, wild energy, and even wilder antics, the Gloria Trevi queen took the performance to another level, literally doing splits on the tabletops. This is the kind of deliciously messy Latina drag chaos we live for.

And we love that Fabeyonce and her crew have brought Noche Latina back to Toucans. You never quite know which diva is going to storm the stage next, and that’s half the fun.

It’s also bachelorette-approved.

We spotted a 2026 bride and her bachelorette crew celebrating their big weekend, and honestly, this is exactly the kind of night that belongs on a Palm Springs girls’ trip itinerary.

Celebrating a birthday? Bachelorette? Or perhaps a messy misadventure you’d rather turn into entertainment? Fabeyonce may pull you into a dance contest—and yes, there can be tequila shots involved.

We also have to give a shout-out to the Toucans staff. The service was professional, friendly, and wonderfully attentive, with the waiters checking in and making sure everyone was taken care of.
