Top 5 Things To Do This Week in Palm Springs: Millennial Cringe x End-of-Summer Nostalgia Edition

By Kai Li

Summer 2025 is winding down, and the vibes are chaotic. Your sunburn is peeling, your iced matcha is sweating faster than you, and you’re in your “should I cut bangs or start therapy again?” era.

This week in Palm Springs?

We’re leaning hard into Millennial Cringe™, spiritual healing, throwback tunes, pool party delusion, and brunch with drag queens who have more charisma than our entire friend group combined. Buckle up. Here are 5 things to do before fall hits and you pretend you’re “so ready for sweaters” (you’re not).

1. Sound Bath @ Miracle Manor – Thursday, Sept 4 @ 6PM

ree

Do you have trauma? Great. Come lay your overstimulated soul in the mineral-rich waters of Miracle Manor while gongs, chimes, and singing bowls do their mystical thing. This isn’t just a bath, babe — it’s a rebirth. You might cry. You might astral project. Either way, bring a towel and a reusable water bottle because we save the Earth now.

📞 $35/person – call (760) 329-6641 to book your spot.Hot girl healing starts here.

2. DJ Shepard Fairey & Arrested Development @ Pappy & Harriet’s – Friday, Sept 5

ree

WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHEPARD FAIREY AND ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT ARE PERFORMING IN JOSHUA TREE???

This all-ages show is celebrating 25 years of the Keep A Breast Foundation, aka the group that made those iconic “I Heart Boobies” bracelets we all wore in middle school like we were saving lives. Come for the nostalgia, stay for the beats, and donate for the cause. Presented by KCRW & Keep A Breast — so yeah, it’s cool.

🎟️ Doors at 5:30 PM, show at 7 PM.Tickets: Go to @pappyandharriets on IG for the goods.

3. Yoga at The Drift Hotel with Karen Salgado – Saturday, Sept 6 @ 9AM

ree

Your joints are crunchy. Your spine feels like it’s been in a group chat with bad news. Fix that.

Karen Salgado, yoga icon and gentle soul, will guide you through a morning flow that’ll have you fully namaslaying. It's on the rooftop at The Drift, so you’re basically doing sun salutations in a curated Pinterest board.

BYO mat, SPF, and willingness to become a wellness girly.

4. Funshine Pool Party @ Hotel Zoso – Saturday, Sept 6, 12–5PM

ree

Remember the Poolside Chic™ era of 2015 when we all wore high-waisted bikinis and gold flash tattoos like it meant something? Well, it's back — kind of.

Hosted by DJ DXsko and DJ RigoLoves, this pool party will have you vibing, sweating, and possibly reliving your Girls Just Wanna Have Rum era. Dive in, don’t forget the SPF, and prepare to post thirst traps with captions like “last splash of summer.”

🕶️ Entry: Check Hotel Zoso’s IG.Fashion inspo: Think floaty, fruity, flirty — and maybe waterproof mascara just in case.

5. Drag Brunch @ The Saguaro – Sunday, Sept 7, 12–2PM

ree

Hosted by the one and only Jasmine Masters (and I oop-), this brunch is about to snatch your hangover and your soul.

Expect loud wigs, louder laughs, and mimosas that taste like redemption. The show is legendary, the food slaps, and your Sunday scaries will be banished — temporarily, but still. Bring your friends, bring your grandma, bring your chaotic bisexual energy.

Reservations recommended.Outfit: Colorful, fabulous, and SPF 30 or higher.

Final Thoughts

You’re not just chasing serotonin — you’re chasing the last golden moments of summer with a frozen drink in one hand and your emotional support crystal in the other.

Whether you’re spiraling in a sound bath or twerking by the pool, Palm Springs is the place to do it with style, sweat, and a healthy dose of millennial cringe.

Now go outside, touch grass (or sand), and tell summer goodbye the only way we know how — dramatically and with several outfit changes.
